Google Nexus Player Go Into Retail Stores

     At the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015, TV set-top boxes became the areas of concern. The technology for streaming TV channels, movies and video over the Internet has been around for some time there is still a whiff of the Wild West about the products and services on offer and it will take a while for it to be tamed and civilised. Android TV is such a novel concept, not to mention implementation, that it will require a lot more exposure before it becomes the de facto Android living room experience that Google most likely wants it to be. 


Google Nexus Player Go Into Retail Stores
     Compare to Android TV, streaming TV Box has some limitations, that is why the availability of the Nexus Player go into the retail stores. Nexus Player streaming box to some online and brick-and-mortar retailers within the next few days, such as Best Buy and Newegg.


     More may indeed come as Google tries to ramp up the Android TV push as can be seen in the new breed of smart TVs announced at CES 2015. With the Nexus Player, that hope probably turns more into a promise as well. This is, after all, a Nexus device, which is, in theory, assured of at least 2 years of updates. Provided, of course, Google doesn't silently pull the plug on Android TV and the Nexus Player itself.
