The early rumors mentioned that Apple will launch new Apple TV set top box at WWDC Conference next week, but now the NEW York Times revealed that Apple has been forced to postpone its plans to introduce new Apple TV hardware and a toolkit for app developers to go along with it.
Currently, there is no clear news to confirms when Apple TV will release, but maybe Apple TV will be launched with Apple TV service together later. Apple originally planned to launch TV service on next week, because negotiations were not success, so the plans were delayed. WWDC will focus on OS x 10.11, iOS 9 and new streaming music service next week. In addition, Apple Watch is one of the stars, Apple plans to launch native App for it.
It’s a shame we won’t get to see the long-awaited revival of the Apple TV, but now Apple will have more time to work on the necessary deals to make its streaming service a reality. By that time, the set-top box itself should be ready for prime time as well.
