AllWinner Launch Quad Core Chip H3 For 4K TV Box

      AllWinner announced the launch of a new generation of  4K HD smart TV box solutions "H3" on 5th Dec. It is the third octa core 4K chip of Allwinner after A80, H8, AllWinner 4K for 4K TV box, H3 is main for entry-level market.

     H3 features quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU architecture, Integrated GPU ARM Mali-400MP2 600MHz, supports 4K H.264/H.265@30fps video hardware decoding, 4K resolution, 4K video output; supports Google Widevine 11, Microsoft Play Ready, Marlin and many other DRM, copyright protection of  HDCP cable and wireless, Of course include Allwinner color display engine Smart Color.
     H3 also supports H.264 BP/MP/HP, VP8, MPEG1/2, MPEG4 SP/ASP GMC, and H.263 (Sorenson Spark), WMV9/VC-1, JPEG/MJPEG and various 1080p@60fps video decoding, H.264 1080p@30fps video encoding.
     It has also integrated HDMI (CEC/3D), CVBS, EMAC+PHY, audio encoder, four USB ports, and built-in t-Coffer based on ARM Trust Zone security, secure video channel supports Root-of-Trust, Secure Boot and Secure Storage.

     AllWinner said, the first smart TV box sporting Allwinner H3 quad-core is slated to hit the market in Dec. 2014.
