Apple Will Launch the TV Streaming Service In This Fall
The Washington Post said, Apple will launch the streaming video service in this fall. Months-long negotiations between Apple and major television networks, such as NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox are making progress, bringing on the possibility of this fall announcement.
Disney and CBS will be the first cooperation company, who will sign a package of cooperation agreements with Apple. But Apple wants to get Disney's ESPN and Discovery's content, and hopes to integrate some regional online TV stations. Some reports said, Apple is seeking the way to quickly reached an agreement with all local television stations, and without negotiate to them one by one.
At present, Apple is authorized ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX and other companies to negotiate with the regional television station. These companies will complete the negotiations soon, and then on regional television station's behalf to negotiate with Apple, which also can add to Apple's plans, and share revenue of Apple TV streaming service.
We expect to hear all about Apple TV's live, local television in the coming months, maybe even stealing a bit of the spotlight during Apple's annual September keynote.
